The democratic "STEUPS"...the often go to dismissive response from those that would find it easier to ignore the Caribbean contemporaneous in favour of the more digestible national "culture" perspective, as well as the often go to dismissive response from the artist to those that would find it easier to ignore the Caribbean contemporaneous in favour of the more digestible national "culture" perspective. Ultimately it is easier to piss on something that one does not understand than to spend time in pursuit of other ways of seeing or understanding.
