In Pierrot Jumbie (2023) I bring together the Pierrot Grenade and the Moko Jumbie in a transatlantic conversation between Africa, the Caribbean and Britain. One figure is grounded in language, wit and social commentary; the other in elevation, watchfulness and spiritual presence. What interests me is what happens when they meet: how culture is shaped through movement, exchange, rupture and reinvention.
